Welcome to Cedar Tree House
A group rental and retreat facility only 10 minutes from Bellingham on the scenic Mt Baker Highway
April 9-May 9 Special--10% off your stay! Due to a set of cancellations, we have last minute openings this month!
Nestled near town on four acres of cedar forest, overlooking Squalicum Creek, is a contemporary northwest home for your group to enjoy. We call it the Cedar Tree House.
From the Ocean Room to the Fairhaven Loft, the themed rooms sleep up to twenty-four people in comfortable beds, with eight to fifteen being the ideal group size for the main indoor dining area. Additional dining, meeting and lounging space are available in the wood-stove adorned, large living room; the Fairhaven Loft; and the radiant-heated, bamboo-floored yurt a few steps from the house. In summer, enjoy outside dining for up to 24 and beautiful hand-made cedar benches on the large deck overlooking the Creek.
Retreats, clubs, activity groups, meetings, trainings, workshops, gatherings, reunions and small events can all find a comfortable home at Cedar Tree House. Ample parking is available. A large screen projector and TV, along with a sound system and BluRay DVD/CD/iPod player are available in the living room, which seats up to twenty-four. Cook for yourself in the gourmet kitchen or hire a personal chef or caterer to prepare your food.
If one of your goals is relaxation, enjoy the large outdoor hot tub under the stars or sign up for a massage or spa service at the Inn next door. We can also arrange private winetastings through any of the four nearby wineries.
Recreation opportunities abound, including walking trails, a fire circle, and a large lawn right on the property. Within a few minutes of the property are: three wineries that can offer private tastings to groups; river sports; numerous picturesque hikes and walks; exceptional road and mountain biking; wildlife watching; and organic farms to visit. Plus, Cedar Tree House sits on the road to Mount Baker, which provides excellent outdoor adventure in all seasons.
